The small village of Sumartin is a peaceful and picturesque place, with a charming harbor, a few cafés, local restaurants, and a relaxed, authentic atmosphere. You can rent boats or small motor dinghies (even without a license), go sup or kayaking along the coast, and enjoy fresh seafood at seaside taverns.
Zlatni Rat (Bol)
About 35 minutes away by car or boat, Zlatni Rat is one of Croatia’s most iconic beaches: a tongue of fine white pebbles that changes shape with the wind and sea currents. Ideal for swimming, sunbathing, or windsurfing thanks to the ever-present breeze. While often crowded, it’s definitely worth a visit—especially paired with a stroll through the nearby town of Bol, which comes alive in the evening with a more vibrant, lively vibe.
Vidova Gora
At 778 meters, Vidova Gora is the highest point of all the Croatian islands. From its summit, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views over Bol, Zlatni Rat, and the island of Hvar. A great destination for hiking lovers or anyone looking to take in a spectacular panorama.
Blaca Hermitage
